Industry-oriented services

The industrial culture of the Ruhr area developed numerous companies in Herten and the Emscher Lippe region, which adjust themselves with their products and services on the demand of the industry. Nearly all sectors are benefiting from the entrepreneurial variety and the know-how. Special state-accepted fields of competences are IT, engineering, electro, water and sewage technology. In the “spid e.V.” the regional network industry-oriented service providers, companies are able to use the network of competences.
